In 2019 and beyond, Antarmanh conducted impactful educational and health initiatives. Collaborating with Gurukool since 2014, they expanded from gender sensitivity to covering topics like menstrual hygiene, supporting 300+ students in grades III to XII with health and hygiene sessions from September 2023 to February 2024.
On May 1, 2019, at Pragati School in Gurgaon, Antarmanh led a Menstruation Health Workshop for 280 students, providing invaluable education on bodily changes during adolescence.
On September 1, 2019, at Nayi Disha, a school for underprivileged children, Antarmanh organized a health awareness event featuring yoga, medical screenings, and engaging activities, supported by SMS India. These initiatives fostered community health, education, and wellness.
Menstruation Health and Hygiene Workshop at Pragati School, Gurgaon
At Pragati School, every child is welcomed with open arms, regardless of their background or documentation. Located across three buildings provided by the Education Department of Haryana, India, Pragati currently educates 280 students. This inclusive approach ensures that children who may lack identification papers or previous records still have access to essential education.
On May 1, 2019, Antarmanh Foundation had the privilege of visiting Pragati School to conduct a Menstruation Health Workshop. Led by Dr. Rajni Duggal and Dr. Seema Rekha, supported by Ms. Malvika, the workshop focused on educating young girls about the changes occurring in their bodies as they enter adolescence. Through insightful discussions and real-life case studies, the session proved invaluable for both the students and their teachers.

Visit to Nayi Disha
Nayi Disha, located in Sector 43, Gurgaon, is a school serving 90 underprivileged children aged 5 to 15, residing in nearby jhuggis. On September 1st, Antarmanh organized a health awareness event, supported by a dedicated team including professionals and volunteers.
The day began with yoga sessions for children, followed by screenings by physicians, dentists, nutritionists, and counselors. Two children with speech and auditory disorders were identified and are now receiving specialized care at Vriddhi, sponsored by SMS India. Mothers received screenings and participated in a yoga workshop, emphasizing maternal health's impact on child well-being. Children enjoyed art and craft activities and were delighted by a magic show, fostering joy and hope.
The event concluded with fruit and chocolate distribution to children, teachers, staff, and volunteers. Antarmanh continues to support Nayi Disha with essential supplies and ongoing community engagement, aiming to nurture healthier, happier children with a strong sense of social responsibility, supported by SMS India.
Since 2014, Antarmanh and Gurukool have collaborated on various educational initiatives, starting with Gender Sensitivity sessions and expanding to cover crucial topics like menstrual hygiene. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Antarmanh supported Gurukool with food and donation drives for underprivileged communities.
From September 2023 to February 2024, Antarmanh conducted sessions for students in grades III to XII, focusing on health, hygiene, and life lessons. Key sessions included Menstrual Hygiene, Puberty, Health & Hygiene, Good Touch Bad Touch, and Sexual Health. These sessions engaged 300+ students, fostering essential habits for lifelong wellness.
The outreach program received enthusiastic participation from students, who actively engaged and shared their experiences. The collaboration has proven to be impactful, promoting individual and community health through education and support.
