Menstruation Health and Hygiene Workshop at Pragati School, Gurgaon

At Pragati School, every child is welcomed with open arms, regardless of their background or documentation. Located across three buildings provided by the Education Department of Haryana, India, Pragati currently educates 280 students. This inclusive approach ensures that children who may lack identification papers or previous records still have access to essential education. On May 1, 2019, Antarmanh Foundation had the privilege of visiting Pragati School to conduct a Menstruation Health Workshop. Led by Dr. Rajni Duggal and Dr. Seema Rekha, supported by Ms. Malvika, the workshop focused on educating young girls about the changes occurring in their bodies as they enter adolescence. Through insightful discussions and real-life case studies, the session proved invaluable for both the students and their teachers. Antarmanh Foundation is committed to supporting educational initiatives that empower every child, ensuring they receive the knowledge and care they deserve. Our visit to Pragati School underscores our dedication to making a positive impact on young lives, promoting awareness, and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Young Mental Health Advocate

Recognising the vital role of teachers, Antarmanh conducted a full-day training program for Pragati School's staff. Held at Antarmanh's premises, the session focused on human behaviour, soft skills, child development, and strategies for managing challenging behaviours. Interactive role-playing exercises and case studies reinforced the training concepts. The program's positive impact led to a request for student assessment, further supporting Pragati School.
